APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE
Birth to 19 years old.
If your child’s illness/hospital stay has caused you to get behind in paying your bills, you are qualified.
Definitely, as we know anyone can get behind during a child’s illness.
Any bill that helps run your household and is necessary.
Contact your social worker who will complete application and apply on your behalf.
Yes, JKS is a non-profit with a tax id number.
If you would like to stay informed on Just Keep Smiling news, scroll down to the next section to “Sign up for JKS news and updates” then click on ‘Subscribe’.
If you have time and are interested in scheduling/coordinating ‘Parties with a Purpose’ where character’s visit various parties, please complete the ‘Contact us’ email stating your wishes.
It takes many volunteers to pull the larger events together. If you have a special talent in this area and would like to be an integral part of a large event, specify this when you complete the ‘Contact us’ form.
Volunteers are what make the JKS events successful. If you are interested in volunteering at an event, complete the ‘Contact us’ page and you will be put in touch with the coordinator for that event. Please specify the event that interests you.
Each quarter Just Keep Smiling visits area hospitals providing a meal while visiting families. If you are interested in being a part of this ministry, complete the ‘Contact Us’ page and state your wishes.
Hospital restrictions have limited visitors from spending time with patients. Unfortunately, as a regular practice, Just Keep Smiling volunteers will not be able to visit families outside of rare exceptions.
Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.
